Punjab Chief Minister Mam Nawaz introduces the ‘Dhee Rani Program’ on Saturday, celebrating the occasion with a mass wedding ceremony for 51 couples, including five Christian brides and grooms.

The program, designed to assist underprivileged families, is a first of its kind in Punjab.

During the ceremony, Mam Nawaz extended her congratulations to the newlyweds and their families, offering heartfelt prayers for their future happiness. She shared her emotions, expressing that attending the wedding of these “sons and daughters” was both a joyful and touching experience for her.

“This is a special moment for both the children and their parents. Just as your parents are happy today, I share in your joy as a mother,” she said.

The Chief Minister personally greeted each couple, handed out congratulatory cards, and prayed for their prosperous married lives. She wished, “May Allah bless the start of your new journey, transforming all sorrows into endless happiness.”

CM Mam Nawaz launched the Dhee Rani Program Greeting Card. She personally handed out the greeting cards and showered love on each bride.

As part of the initiative, the newlyweds were presented with essential household items, such as mattresses, dinner sets, cooking utensils, and other necessities, as a gesture from the Chief Minister. Additionally, each couple received a ‘Dhee Rani Greeting Card,’ which granted them a monet gift (salami) of Rs100,000.

Chief Minister Mam Nawaz Sharif personally congratulated each newlywed couple, expressing her admiration for the brides and offering heartfelt prayers for their happiness and future.
