Train operations in Pakistan were severely disrupted on Saturday due to extreme weather and thick fog, causing delays of up to nine hours and considerable inconvenience to passengers.
Reports indicate that the Karakoram Express, traveling from Lahore to Karachi, was delayed by seven hours, leaving passengers stranded in freezing conditions. Similarly, the Business Express from Lahore faced a delay of seven and a half hours.
The Pakistan Express also experienced a delay of more than five hours, further frustrating travelers. Passengers had to endure harsh conditions while waiting for their trains, as dense fog continued to affect rail schedules nationwide.
