Apple to launch iPhone 17 Air with slim design
Apple is rumored to launch the iPhone 17 Air alongside the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro, replacing the Plus model with a more compact, slim design. Expected to be Apple’s slimmest iPhone yet, the 17 Air will reportedly serve as a platform for testing future technologies, paving the way for foldable devices.
iPhone 17 Air Design
The iPhone 17 Air is anticipated to feature a thinner battery, made possible by Apple’s new electric glue technology. This will reduce the device’s weight and thickness, with an expected thickness of 5.5mm to 6.25mm, about 2mm slimmer than current models.
To achieve this sleek design, the iPhone 17 Air may eliminate the SIM tray while maintaining impressive features like excellent camera quality, battery life, and overall performance.
Expected Features of iPhone 17 Air
The device will likely include a 6.6-inch ProMotion OLED display, a single 48MP rear camera, and a 24MP front-facing camera. Powered by Apple’s A19 chip with 8GB of RAM, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to support advanced AI capabilities.
Additionally, it might debut Apple’s in-house cell modem, codenamed Sinope, previously rumored for the iPhone SE 4.
With these features, the iPhone 17 Air could set a new benchmark for lightweight and innovative smartphones.
