Four people killed in Islamabad as dumper hits five vehicles
ISLAMABAD: A speeding dumper rammed into five vehicles in Islamabad, killing four people and injuring seven others, the news reported. The accident happened when the speeding dumper truck lost control and crashed into the vehicles.
The dumper truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, abandoning the wreckage. Islamabad police quickly arrived and transported the injured to PIMS Hospital for medical treatment.
Earlier, in just five days, a single dump truck killed four individuals, sparking outrage over negligence and weak regulatory enforcement in Larkana.
After multiple fatalities in Karachi, dump truck accidents continue to create chaos in Larkana as well.
The most recent incident happened on Airport Road, where a dump truck from Sindh Solid Waste Management tragically hit and killed a woman from Qutub Colony.
Rescue officials confirmed that she died at the scene from her injuries.
This tragedy follows another accident just four days earlier, when the same truck killed a mother, her son, and her daughter. This raises serious questions about the performance of regulatory enforcement.
