HANOI — Honda Motor has launched its first electric motorbike in Vietnam, one of the world’s largest scooter markets, the company announced on its Facebook page.
The ICON e:, which goes on sale in April for less than 29 million dong (about $1,130), excluding the battery, is propelled to a top speed of 48 kph by a lithium-ion battery offering about 1.5 kilowatts of power.
