NAGOYA, Japan — Japanese budget carrier Peach Aviation on Thursday launched daily service between Chubu Centrair International Airport in central Japan and Gimpo International Airport in Seoul, with an eye on growing demand for travel to and from South Korea.
“Young South Koreans have been posting about the route on social media since we announced it in Febru,” Motoyuki Fukushima, an executive at Peach, said at a launch ceremony. “There’s a lot of hope and interest.”
