List of eight Pakistanis killed in terrorist attack in Iran released

ISLAMABAD:  A list of eight Pakistanis killed in terrorist attacks in the Iranian city of Mehrestan has been released.

Pakistani Ambassador to Iran Mudassir Tipu released a list of eight Pakistani nationals killed in terrorist attacks in Iran two days ago.

According to Mudassir Tipu, Pakistani ambassador to Iran, eight workers from Bahawalpur were killed in the Iranian city of Mehrestan.

The Pakistani ambassador said that the dead included Mohammad Amir, Mohammad Dilshad, Mohammad Nasir, Malik Jamshed, Mohammad Danish, Mohammad Naeem, Ghulam Jaffar and Mohammad Khalid.

The Muddasir Tipu has said that the Pakistani embassy is in full contact with the Iranian authorities and arrangements are being made to bring back the bodies of the dead Pakistanis while the instructions of the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister will be sent to the country soon.

The Pakistani ambassador added that full cooperation is underway to seek justice on the killing of Pakistani nationals from Iran. The Iranian authorities are in touch for immediate and transparent investigation, the Iranian government has assured full cooperation.

Earlier, terrorists opened fire on a workshop in Iran’s Sistan province and killed 8 Pakistani car mechanics, the victims were from Bahawalpur.
