Mossad’s Role in Revealing Enemies of Adani
According to a report by Sputnik India, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allegedly ordered Mossad, Israel’s spy agency, to investigate a global campaign against Indian billionaire Gautam Adani.
This move was reportedly in response to allegations made by Hindenburg Research in Janu 2023, which accused Adani of massive corporate fraud. These accusations led to a huge financial loss for the Adani Group and caused a major stock market crash in India.
The report claims that Netanyahu saw the attack on Adani as more than just a business issue. He allegedly viewed it as a threat to Israel’s interests, especially because it came just before Adani finalized a $1.2 billion deal to acquire Haifa Port in Israel. Netanyahu is said to have reassured Adani during their meeting in Israel that Israel would support him, and soon after, Mossad launched a secret mission called “Operation Zeppelin.”
As part of this mission, Mossad reportedly hacked into the home servers of Sam Pitroda, a close ally of Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, and began surveillance on Hindenburg Research and its founder Nathan Anderson. Sources suggest that Mossad was trying to uncover a larger network involving journalists, hedge funds, activists, and political figures—some of whom were allegedly linked to the Biden administration and influential people like rge Soros.
According to these sources, Mossad believed that Indian opposition leaders, particularly Rahul Gandhi, were working with Hindenburg to harm Adani and the Indian government. They even claim Gandhi met Hindenburg’s allies in the U.S. and that encrypted chats between Pitroda and others were discovered.
The operation reportedly found evidence that various western organizations and media outlets, including USAID and OCCRP, were involved in spreading negative narratives about Adani. Mossad tried to leak this information to major media houses, but most didn’t report it—except a French publication called Mediapart.
In late 2024, U.S. authorities began legal action against Adani, allegedly under pressure from people connected to the Biden administration. However, the case fell apart, and a top U.S. attorney resigned as a result.
Eventually, Nathan Anderson of Hindenburg supposedly agreed to shut down the firm in exchange for legal protection, which he later lost when Donald Trump returned to the presidency in Janu 2025. Throughout this period, Mossad reportedly continued monitoring Rahul Gandhi and Sam Pitroda.
These claims have not been independently verified, and India’s opposition party has denied any involvement, saying the allegations are a distraction from the real issues raised by the Hindenburg report.
