Asma Abbas belongs to a family deeply rooted in talent and creativity. From her father, Ahmed Bashir, to her daughter, Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui, three generations have contributed to Pakistan’s arts and culture.

She appeared as a guest on Hina Niazi’s show, where she opened up about her ongoing health struggles. She revealed that she survived cancer, describing the treatment as extremely painful. She also shared that she underwent cervical surgery and continues to manage diabetes along with several other health conditions daily. Despite these challenges, she has always placed her trust in Allah and chosen to remain happy and positive.

Asma Abbas also revealed that “she is very close to her daughter Zara Noor Abbas. Zara is extremely close to her. She calls her every day and discusses everything with her. Asma is now scared of how Zara will cope with her loss when the time comes. She therefore feels that they should have some distance so Zara can handle it easily when the time comes.”
