Punjab laptop scheme- Here’s how to apply
Punjab Chief Minister Mam Nawaz has restarted the government’s student laptop scheme after eight years. The program will provide high-performance 13th-generation Core i7 laptops to top students from across the country.
The relaunch event was held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) in Lahore, where the chief minister personally gave laptops to students and spoke with them informally, skipping a formal speech.
In the first phase, 14,000 students from the Lahore Division will receive laptops. The distribution will cover 13 public universities, six medical colleges, and 27 other higher education institutions in the region.
Eligibility criteria
*Applicant must have a domicile in any district of Punjab.
*Applicant must be enrolled in: (1st or 2nd semester of BS in any Public University / College Public Medical & Dental College / University (1st professional – academic session 2024)
1-For Public Sector Universities / Colleges (Minimum of 65% Marks in Intermediate)
2-For Public Sector Medical & Dental Colleges / University (Minimum of 80% Marks in Intermediate)
*Student must not be a recipient of any laptop scheme
