KARACHI: Flight operations at Jinnah International Airport Karachi have been temporarily suspended in view of the ongoing tension between Pakistan and India.

On Thursday morning, several aerial routes were closed for commercial flights in the boundaries of Lahore and Sialkot.

In Lahore Flight Information Region, seven aerial routes were closed for commercial aircraft flights while the landing and taking off of commercial aircraft were closed at Sialkot Airport.

However, according to the Airport Authority, flight operations have been restored after a short shutdown at Lahore and Sialkot Airports. Operational measures affected some flights.

However, flight operations at Karachi airport have been temporarily suspended.

It should be noted that after the cowardly attack on Pakistan by India, the air operation was affected and the airspace was suspended for 48 hours.
