PSL matches to resume from May 17 PSL matches to resume from May 17

KARACHI: Pakistan Super League (PSL) X will resume on May 17 and culminate with the final on May 25 (Sunday) at the Gaddafi stadium.

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi announced revised schedule in a tweet on social media platform X Tuesday morning.

The tournament will restart from the same stage it was halted. Chairman PCB said that his best wishes to all the teams and we are celebrating the cricket spirit.

The rest of eight matches of the tournament are likely to be played at the two venues, Rawalpindi and Lahore, instead of the original plans of three venues including Multan before it was suspended on May 8 (Thursday).

The PSL X was suspended due to unprovoked, blatant act of war by India on May 7 when the Indian Air Force violated Pakistan’s sovereignty using standoff weapons, targeting civilian population across international border in various cities including Rawalpindi where the PSL X matches were being played.

With the HBL PSL X final to be played on May 25 means the Pakistan and Bangladesh T20I series, which was scheduled to commence on May 25 in Faisalabad, will not be affected and was likely to be moved a day or two ahead.
