TOKYO — Sony Group on Wednesday posted a record net income of 1.1 trillion yen ($7.5 billion) for the fiscal year ended March, as it seeks to move ahead with a shift to the entertainment businesses under new management.
Its sales and financial services revenue was 13 trillion yen. The company raised its full-year net income forecast to 1.08 trillion yen in Febru, citing strong performance in the gaming business and lower tax costs.
