BENGALURU — India on Wednesday approved a new semiconductor factory set up by Taiwanese contract manufacturer Foxconn and local technology company HCL.
The move is in line with the strategy laid out by the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to establish the country as an electronics manufacturing hub.
