Cassie Ventura, the prosecution’s star witness, testified on Tuesday in the case against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Prosecutors played a crucial piece of evidence from a security video that shows Combs brutally beating Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016. Ventura testified saying the incident was the result of her leaving a “freak off,” sexual encounters controlled and often recorded by Combs.
