Gold price jumps again in Pakistan
KARACHI: Gold prices have surged once again in both international and domestic markets here on Saturday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola has increased by Rs. 2,400, bringing the new rate to Rs. 338,500.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has gone up by Rs. 2,058, now standing at Rs. 290,209.
On the international market, the price of gold has also surged by $24, reaching $3,177 per ounce.
Earlier, Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped for the second consecutive day.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs. 6,700 per tola, bringing the new rate down to Rs. 335,200 per tola.
According to the association, the price of 10 grams of gold is reduced by Rs 5,745 to Rs 287,379.
The price of gold in the global market witnessed a sharp decline, falling by $67 to reach $3,168 per ounce.
