Oman introduces new visa category transform tourist experience

Oman is taking major steps to enhance its cruise tourism sector with the launch of two new visa options: a free 10-day visa and a one-month visa.

These visas, tailored for cruise ship passengers and crew, aim to simplify access to the beautiful Middle Eastern country.

Approved by Oman’s Inspector General of Police and Customs, this initiative seeks to attract more tourists and boost the growing tourism industry.

Cruise ship agents can request these visas, provided that entry into Oman occurs within 30 days of issuance, offering greater flexibility for travelers.

Oman, with a population of 4.5 million, is experiencing a tourism boom fueled by the rising demand for experiential travel and improved accessibility.
