AHMEDABAD, India — Honda Motor will raise its Indian motorcycle production capacity by an annual 650,000 units with a roughly 9.2 billion rupee ($107 million) new assembly line at its Gujarat plant by 2027.
The Japanese company announced the plans Thursday, holding a ceremony at the plant to celebrate manufacturing a cumulative 500 million motorcycles worldwide.
