The United States Court of International Trade is slamming the brakes on President Donald Trump’s sweeping tariffs, saying he does not have the authority to impose them on allies or adversaries. The court, in two separate cases, tossed out the tariffs under a 48-year-old emergency economic law. NBC’s Peter Alexander reports and Christine Romans and Laura Jarrett join TODAY with analysis.
