Court grants two-day physical remand of Salman Farooqi
KARACHI: The Karachi police obtained a two-day physical remand of Salman Farooqi and his co-accused in the DHA torture case.
During the hearing, the police presented Salman Farooqi and the co-accused before the Judicial Magistrate South and requested their physical remand for further investigation.
Granting the request, the court approved a two-day remand, directing the police to complete the investigation and produce the suspects at the next hearing.
Police requested the court for physical remand of the accused, which the court approved and gave a two -day physical remand.
On the other hand, police arrested another accused of torturing a young man in front of a sister in the Khayaban Ittehad.
Police said the second accused in the video of the incident is also seen as violent, and the other accused was arrested with footage.
It is to be noted that the main accused, his driver and guard involved in the incident of torture of the youngster was arrested and now the number of suspects arrested in the defence incident has increased to 4.
