PM Shehbaz, Saudi Crown Prince discuss expanding ties in trade, energy, and investment
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Friday, exchanged Eid greetings, and discussed ways to strengthen the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Saudi media reported that Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also attended the meeting.
The leaders focused their discussions on expanding cooperation across various sectors. The crown prince personally welcomed PM Shehbaz, who is on a two-day visit to the kingdom, and drove him to the royal lunch held in his honour at the Royal Court.
They also reviewed regional developments and discussed ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the region.
Key Middle Eastern leaders, Saudi cabinet members, and top milit and civilian officials attended the lunch. During the gathering, the two leaders also shared a warm, informal conversation.
