WASHINGTON — A ceasefire between Iran and Israel looked at risk of unraveling just hours after U.S. President Donald Trump said it took effect, as Israel’s government accused Tehran of violating the deal.
Roughly 48 hours after American forces conducted strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites, Trump said on Truth Social that Israel and Iran had agreed to a “complete and total” ceasefire.
