TOKYO — Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor on Wednesday launched a new made-in-India compact SUV in Japan, taking advantage of its strong manufacturing base in India.
The move comes as Honda Motor has begun importing its own compact SUV from India, highlighting the growing trend of Japanese automakers selling vehicles produced overseas in their home market.
