GUANGZHOU — Chinese home appliance maker Midea seeks to expand its foothold in the U.S., Europe and other overseas markets with products like high-end air conditioners, bolstered by cash from its recent Hong Kong listing.
Midea was among the companies exhibiting at the Canton Fair trade show that opened here Tuesday, drawing crowds of buyers from Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
