SAPPORO, Japan — A farm in Hokkaido is looking to bring microwave popcorn to the U.S. market, hoping that health-conscious consumers will be attracted to its lighter flavor and smaller packages.
Maeda Grain Farm, a wheat and corn producer, first developed Hokkaido Tokachi Popcorn for Japanese consumers.
