He described Diwali as a festival of lights that symbolizes victory over darkness and hope over despair. “As we celebrate Diwali, let us all look toward the future with a positive mindset and a spirit of unity,” he said. As a Pakistani, he emphasized the pride he feels toward the diversity in the country, which strengthens the national potency and enriches shared culture.
The Prime Minister paid tribute to the significant contributions of the active Hindu community in Pakistan, highlighting their role in the social, economic, and political sectors as vital to strengthening the nation. He noted that the diversity of beliefs in Pakistan is a true source of flexibility and unity among its people.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his joy in seeing Pakistani Hindus and other minority communities working alongside their Muslim brothers and sisters for the country’s development. He reminded everyone of the vision of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who envisioned a Pakistan where all communities enjoy equality and freedom, regardless of religion, race, or caste.
