TOKYO — Sky Perfect JSAT, a Japanese satellite operator, is looking at the possibility of exporting its satellite operation capabilities to other countries in Asia, aiming to capture the growing interest in satellites for broadcasting, broadband internet, as well as security applications such as drone operations and tracking vessels and missiles.

“We want to play a part in building infrastructure for space-to-space and space-to-Earth communications,” said Eiichi Yonekura, president and CEO of the Japanese company, in an interview on the sidelines of last month’s Global Management Dialogue.
