ISLAMABAD, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) — The foreign ministers of Pakistan and Belarus on Monday reaffirmed their commitment to promoting mutually beneficial cooperation, terming the bilateral relations as important, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

In a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, the two sides expressed satisfaction at the momentum of bilateral exchanges and high-level visits between Pakistan and Belarus.

The ministers also discussed key regional and global developments, including the situation in the Middle East, the foreign ministry statement said, adding that they also expressed their support for a peaceful resolution to conflicts and underlined the need for a coordinated approach to address the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The two sides emphasized the importance of enhanced cooperation in international and regional organizations to advance mutual interest and to jointly address global challenges, said the statement.
