PARIS — France’s Renault said on Monday that it “will consider all options based on the best interest” of the carmaker and its stakeholders, following Honda Motor and Nissan Motor’s announcement on the same day that they are entering into discussions over a possible merger.
Renault is in an alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors, which is also considering joining the Honda-Nissan merger talks.
