TOKYO — Japan Airlines announced on its official X account on Thursday that its systems had been affected by a cyberattack. The company said, “This may potentially affect the operations of both domestic and international flights.”

Delays are occurring in domestic and international flight operations, and ticket sales for both domestic and international flights departing on Thursday have been suspended, according to the company. As of 11:00 a.m., 24 domestic flights were delayed by more than 30 minutes.
