SEOUL — South Korea’s main opposition Democratic Party filed an impeachment motion on Thursday against acting President and Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, adding to the country’s political uncertainty after President Yoon Suk Yeol was suspended from office earlier this month.
All 170 DP lawmakers filed the motion with the National Assembly, according to the legislature’s website. The party plans to vote for the motion on Friday.
