12 injured in Jamshoro multiple-vehicle-collision
At least 12 people, including two children and several women, were injured in a severe multi-vehicle collision on the M9 Motorway in Jamshoro.
Rescue officials reported that the accident was triggered when a Hyderabad-bound vehicle transporting chickens overturned due to a tire burst. This caused multiple vehicles traveling behind, including two passenger coaches, to collide with the overturned vehicle. The incident has significantly disrupted traffic, and motorway police are working to restore the flow.
In a separate incident, four children lost their lives, and 10 others were injured in a crash between a school van and a tractor trolley in Pir Mahal tehsil of Toba Tek Singh. The tragic accident occurred on Shorkot Road near the motorway bridge when a speeding school van carrying 18 children collided with a tractor trolley and overturned. Rescue 1122 teams transported the injured and deceased to THQ hospital, while the driver of the van fled the scene.
Earlier, three individuals were burned to death in a collision between a car and a motorcycle near Gadani Mor in Hub, Balochistan. According to reports, the car, carrying Iranian petrol, caught fire after the crash, resulting in the fatalities.
