Today, the actress appeared on the morning show “Subh Ka Samaa”, hosted by Madeha Naqvi. During the show, Amber Khan opened up about her feelings of mom guilt and shared how financial issues forced her to work in the media industry.
She said, “I experienced guilt when I came to showbiz with a newborn daughter. It was for personal or financial reasons that I had to join showbiz; otherwise, I would have entered the media industry way before my marriage. I used to work and did a few commercials, but I wanted to leave it because I used to miss my daughter. At that time, I would pray that my daughter wouldn’t miss me and I used to counsel myself that money would make our life easier. After 11 years, I conceived again. I was offered Family Front, but I didn’t join because I had waited so long for a child. I left it to Allah. During the time of my second daughter, I did not want to join showbiz, but my husband said I had to work because of expenses. I desperately wanted to stay at home, but I couldn’t”.
