Bilawal Bhutto vows to address business community’s concerns
On Tuesday, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that solutions to challenges will be sought after collaboration with the business community.
Addressing a luncheon held in honour of traders in Karachi on Tuesday, Bhutto-Zardari emphasized improving communication and said that if there are complaints against Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, they should be addressed openly.
He advised complaints against ministers or bureaucrats to be gotten to him, restating that resolving issues is the PPP’s responsibility in Sindh.
Bilawal Bhutto accepted the vital role of Karachi’s business community in the country’s development, noting that the challenges faced by them are well-known.
He compared Karachi’s situation today with the past, highlighting the lack of extortion demands and threats to personal safety.
He further said that forcing industries to shut down or forcing workers to attend protests has stopped. He credited this progress partly to PPP and CM Murad’s efforts.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari encouraged the use of public-private partnerships to tackle issues like infrastructure, utilities, and economic development in Sindh.
He highlighted the importance of digitization and finding collaborative solutions for the improvement of Karachi and its business sector.
