TOKYO/LONDON — SoftBank Group is looking to create industrial parks across the U.S. featuring artificial intelligence-equipped factories, Nikkei has learned.
The Japanese tech investor could commit to about $1 trillion in such investments, significantly more than the $500 billion AI infrastructure investment that billionaire CEO Masayoshi Son announced at the White House in Janu with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Oracle’s Larry Ellison.
