TOKYO — Skymark Airlines will resume international flights for the first time in five years, Nikkei has learned. Charter service will be established connecting Kobe Airport, where international service will start next month, to various Asian destinations. Amid rising fuel and other costs, the Japanese carrier hopes to tap demand from inbound tourists.

The plan is to begin with several routes in fiscal 2025 and restart regular international flights by 2030.
