Pakistan strongly condemns Israel’s attacks on Gaza
Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s ongoing milit aggression in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, particularly in Gaza, calling the latest actions war crimes under international law.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Foreign Office criticized Israel’s indiscriminate attacks, which have killed thousands of Palestinians, including women, children, medical staff, and humanitarian workers. It also denounced Israel’s recent milit push to seize new areas, including the illegal takeover of the Morag Corridor.
The statement highlighted the deliberate targeting of a UN-run clinic in Jabalia, where over 700 displaced civilians had sought shelter, calling it a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
Additionally, Islamabad condemned the destruction of civilian infrastructure and the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of people, calling it both morally and legally indefensible.
Reaffirming its support for Palestine, Pakistan reiterated its call for an independent and contiguous Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. It urged the global community to take decisive action to stop further bloodshed and protect religious sites.
