PM Shehbaz declares Belarus visit as success, vows progress for Pakistan
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday that his visit to Belarus was successful. While speaking to the media at Avenfield House in London, he mentioned that Pakistan would benefit from Belarus’s expertise, especially in agriculture.
He also said that the sacrifices made by the people, the Pakistan Army, and law enforcement agencies will not be wasted. Talking about security concerns, he pointed out that banned groups like the TTP and other terrorist organizations operate from Afghanistan, and it’s up to Pakistan to decide if it wants to move forward like its neighboring countries.
PM Shehbaz expressed confidence in Pakistan’s progress and said the country will move towards development and prosperity. He added that they are working for the country under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
He also praised overseas Pakistanis for their support, saying they sent millions of dollars back home. He mentioned that the Overseas Pakistanis Convention is being launched as a historic event.
While in London, PM Shehbaz met with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. Dar also said the Belarus trip was a success and emphasized that Nawaz Sharif continues to play an important role in Pakistan’s politics.
