SYDNEY — The two candidates vying at the May 3 federal election to be Australia’s leader held their second televised debate on Wednesday, sparring over hot-button issues including the country’s housing crisis and how to engage with the U.S. under the leadership of President Donald Trump.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of the center-left Labor Party took on right-leaning opposition leader Peter Dutton in a debate carried by broadcaster ABC, moderated by David Speers.
