SEOUL — The Democratic Party’s Lee Jae-myung, South Korea’s leading presidential candidate, called for economic pragmatism after winning the opposition party’s prim with almost 90% of the vote on Sunday.

South Korea is moving toward a presidential election on June 3 through an official campaigning period that begins on May 12.
