Saba Faisal, a senior Pakistani television artist, has earned a reputation for her vocal and confident personality. Fans admire her for her hit performances in dramas like Humsafar, Dureshehwar, Chaand Tara, Kahin Deep Jalay, Lashkara, Khaie, Muhabbat Tum Se Nafrat Hai, Zara Yaad Kar, and many others. She also maintains an impressive Instagram following of 2.4 million.
Today, Saba Faisal appeared as a guest on Nida Yasir’s morning show and shared that she recently refused an Indian advertisement.
Speaking about it, Saba Faisal said, “About two months ago, I received an offer for a commercial from India. They shortlisted me and a few others. I initially agreed, but then they started demanding multiple things, including setting an audition date. I refused the commercial right away due to my busy schedule. The coordinator was shocked to hear about my refusal and asked, ‘Why did you do that, because many celebrities have given auditions.’ I don’t know why, but I didn’t want to do that commercial. And see now, the tensions between the two countries are rising after the Pahalgam incident, and we (the actors) are already being accused of so many things. Thank God I was saved. Also, even if the commercial had been finalized, I would have still refused it.”
She further added, “Nida, I am watching everything on social media, their social media pages are writing and talking so bad about Pakistan. For me, Pakistan is everything. I am here for Pakistan.”
