PM Shehbaz Sharif visits ISI Headquarter, evaluates defense preparations
Rawalpindi: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the ISI headquarters in Rawalpindi on Thursday for a high-level security briefing amid growing concerns over India’s aggressive posturing along the eastern border.
Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, the Prime Minister was briefed on the overall security landscape of the country. The visit comes at a crucial time when regional tensions are on the rise, prompting a thorough review of Pakistan’s defense preparedness.
During the briefing, the Prime Minister expressed confidence in Pakistan’s armed forces and intelligence agencies, particularly praising the professionalism and strategic capabilities of the ISI.
