Pakistan’s very own Olympic gold medalist in javelin throw, Arshad Nadeem, has done it again! He just bagged another gold medal, this time at the Asian Athletics Championship.

Arshad wasted no time making his mark. His first throw landed at 75.64 meters, and he quickly improved to 76.80 meters on his second try. But it was his third attempt that truly set him apart, launching the javelin a remarkable 85.57 meters, which shot him right to the top of the leader board.

He kept up the pressure, hitting 83.99 meters on his fourth throw. Then, with his fifth and final attempt, Arshad unleashed an incredible 86.40-meter throw, solidifying his win and securing the gold medal for Pakistan.

Another Pakistani athlete, Yasir Sultan, also competed, making throws of 70.53 meters, 75.39 meters, and 75.50 meters.

Among the other top competitors, Sri Lanka’s Haranga is currently holding second place, while China’s Ho Ho Huran is in third. India’s Yash Vir Singh sits in fourth with an 82.23-meter throw, and his compatriot Sachin Yadav is in sixth.

Arshad Nadeem’s consistent power, especially that huge 85.57-meter throw in the third round and his impressive final 86.40-meter effort, really sealed his victory and brought home the gold.
