Punjab celebrates Punjabi culture day with traditional zeal

Punjabi Culture Day was celebrated across Punjab on Monday with traditional enthusiasm and spirit. Government employees wore cultural attire, and officers donned traditional Punjabi turbans to mark the occasion.

Cultural programs were held at all art councils throughout the province, while government schools also joined in the celebrations with equal zeal.

Punjab’s Minister for Information and Culture, Azma Bukhari, announced that a grand event will take place at Al-hamra Hall in Lahore on Thursday, April 17, where Chief Minister Mam Nawaz will address the gathering. She noted that Mam Nawaz shares a deep emotional bond with Punjabi culture.

Azma Bukhari highlighted the importance of the Punjabi turban, describing it as a symbol of pride, honor, and dignity. She also stressed that the Punjab government is committed to promoting Punjabi heritage and passing it on to future generations.
